Gorgeous day to check out @sobo_bagels in Carnegie! Sobo has a great selection of fresh brewed coffee, espresso drinks and teas! The freshly made bagels were amazing and the iced vanilla latte was perfect. They also have a great lunch menu!

Friendly staff and clean interior with around 7 tables. We got the BOBO and HOBO, the home fries are on the sandwich which is great. Only complaint is would prefer cheddar cheese ( they use a white cheese, unsure what kind ) and for the HOBO I loved that the ham is grilled, however would’ve preferred folded better so not all stacked in the middle. Bagel was soft with a good crust. Sandwich comes with a hot coffee, which we declined so can’t speak to quality, but looked to be La Prima. Definitely will be back, we needed a good bagel option in the Carnegie area !

Went Tuesday around 9am, the staff is amazing ! Very welcoming and helpful. They had a small bagel selection and the wait was a little long for a bagel and cream cheese, they were out of ice for their iced coffee and while I was waiting they ran out of hot coffee. Overall it’s a cute place, bagels are average, but $5 for a bagel with veggie cream cheese is a good deal, hopefully I’ll be able to try the coffee next time .

Sobo is exactly what carnegie needed, an independent, locally owned bagel shop in the heart of the neighborhood. Great bagels, great home made spreads, great sandwich options and great drinks. What's not to love? Staff is awesome and everyone was busting their asses the week they opened. Also, shame on the people giving one star reviews to a brand new small business for forgetting simple items on their first day open, everyone knows nothing will be perfect day one, give them some grace and a chance to make things right ffs.

So excited to have a bagel shop in Carnegie! The place was very clean and comfortable with a few tables to dine in. I was surprised they have so many sandwiches and other options. The bagels were good, a the cook was a little bit inconsistent and I had one bagel in my order that looks like didn’t really rise. Prices are honestly a bit more NYC than Pittsburgh. Overall they have a few kinks to work out but I thoroughly enjoyed my bagels and am excited to have them here! Update: a few weeks later I just ordered a half dozen bagels and they were perfect! The blueberry was soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside, awesome job!
